What is your most valued achievement?
I would say my most valued achievement is being able to support myself financially right out of high school. By this I mean being able to move out of my mother’s house without any help. I’m also able to buy a car, paid in full. That’s something that I’m very proud of.
What is your favorite thing about being an It Girl?
My favorite thing about being an It Girl is that I get to do something that I enjoy doing everyday. I get to meet new people and I love that I’m able to be a highlight in tourist’s vacation when they come to Vegas. Seeing people get so excited to take a photo with us is so motivating and makes my time at work an enjoyable experience for all of us.
How have you used It Girls to reach your personal goals?
Working with It Girls I’ve been able to come out of my shell a bit more. I’m a very antisocial person but by working with the ladies at It Girls and the tourists on the strip, I’ve been able to be myself and open up.
What advice would you give to future It Girls?
As you mature and learn, you realize that some people are just not going to like you, for whatever reason, and that’s okay. It was a little nerve wracking in the beginning when people would say rude things or give dirty looks. But as long as you’re happy with your decisions and who you are then it doesn’t matter what others think. I would tell myself to focus on the people that bring positivity because on the other hand there are people who love what we do and love taking photos with us. Negative people are only projecting their own insecurities.
